DVR

The advent of digital video recorders has revolutionised the way images are viewed, displayed and replayed.

Digital Video Recorders (DVR) allow normally up to 16 cameras to be recorded onto a computer hard drive. The images are then treated as a computer file. The images can be viewed on the DVR or if it is networked, can be viewed on other computers. This means that the recorder could be located in another state if you have the right infrastructure.

We currently have a number of our corporate clients who have WAN facilities with remote access to their Interstate located Digital Video Recorders.

The best thing is that there are no tapes. Review is easy. You can search footage by easy to use search screen by time and date, incident or event.

Tapes are gone.  Hard Drives are in.  You can burn images to a USB or onto another hard drive on your network or a CD or DVD.
